STUDENT COUNCIL (SC)

The Student Council comprises a group of students across all year levels who are supported by the staff well-being coordinator to drive student voice and decision making in a demographic forum.

SC is responsible for organising:

• Fun & Fundraising
• School Improvement
• Learning & Communication

This also involves discussing fair play and behaviour; information sharing with their class and taking their class feedback to meetings. Their main fundraiser in Semester 1 is the annual Wheelathon to support the World Vision Community. In Semester 2 their main event is the 'themed' school disco.

YOUNG ENVIRONMENTAL LEADERS (YEL)

This group represent our school at forums held each term, which include reps from other local schools. Forums are held at various locations (eg. Swanport Wetlands), each with a different environmental focus which YEL take back to their school to share with students. These forums are organised and supported by the local Natural Resources Management Board (NRM).
